EPHS Research

At Eden Park, staff are committed to continue progressing teaching pedagogy through current research.

It is through this adaption to change with the research, that staff are confident in the delivery of information to the students, to ultimately improve outcomes.

Currently, Eden Park has a library of teacher resources to guide new ideas in the classroom, as well as strong links with the SSAT, where all staff can benefit from an online library of journals. Eden Park also regularly use and plan against the research comprised of the Education Endowment Foundation.

To add to this vast resource in research articles, staff are also actively encouraged to carry out research as a means for CPD. The school has created a group of triads that go into lessons, identify strengths and areas of development across the school, then research new ideas to address them, before trying them out in their own lessons and evaluating their success. It is the intention, that every year, staff at Eden Park, will collectively create their own research journal, to further advance teaching in the school, by identifying good practice that has been tried and tested right here.

The findings from these research articles will be available once completed.
