Please use the topics below to guide your revision ahead of the upcoming Autumn assessments in Years 7 - 9. Please note that Science is being assessed separately outside of these assessments and so is not listed below.
English
Please note, the autumn assessments for English are considered 'unseen' by students. This means that they are designed to assess the skills that students have developed, rather than knowledge of specific texts or other resources used in class.
As such, there is no 'revision content' for Year 7, 8 and 9. Instead, time should be spent reviewing the skills that our students develop within the English curriculum such as structure and style of writing, understanding of character and setting, and the ability to identify key features, characters and narrative within writing.
